"Every day the humanitarian situation grows worse for the survivors.
In the heat, people are desperate for water and that is causing them to drink unsafe water from wherever they can find it....There is a very real concern among aid groups of increasing violence and theft on the streets, but today the streets were calm for us and we can only hope that as the relief efforts ramp up, the tensions will drop.
This has been one of the most difficult launches to a disaster that I have experienced"
